AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CUMBERLAND COUNTY AND THE CUMBERLAND COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION TO OFFER AND PAY REWARDS NOT TO EXCEED $1,000.00.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Cumberland County is hereby authorized and empowered to offer and pay from the general fund rewards not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for the apprehension and conviction of felons.

Sec. 2. The Cumberland County Board of Education is hereby authorized and empowered to offer and pay from the current expense or Capital Outlay Budget, rewards not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for the apprehension and conviction of any person destroying or damaging school property.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
