AN ACT TO REPEAL CHAPTER 1314 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1967 RELATING TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS' RELIEF FUND IN BERTIE COUNTY, AND TO AMEND CHAPTER 897 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1953 SO AS TO INCREASE THE FEE TO BE TAXED FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS' RELIEF FUND FROM ONE DOLLAR TO ONE DOLLAR AND FIFTY CENTS.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Chapter 1314 of the Session Laws of 1957 is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. Section 5 of Chapter 897 of the Session Laws of 1953 is hereby amended by striking out the words and figures "one dollar ($1.00)" appearing in line 5 of the Section and substituting therefor the words and figures "one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50)".

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
