RESOLUTION 2001-2
A JOINT RESOLUTION INFORMING HIS EXCELLENCY, GOVERNOR Michael F. Easley, THAT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IS ORGANIZED AND READY TO PROCEED WITH PUBLIC BUSINESS AND INVITING THE GOVERNOR TO ADDRESS A JOINT SESSION OF THE SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
SECTION 1. A committee of five Senators appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and five Representatives appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall notify His Excellency, Governor Michael F. Easley, that the General Assembly is organized and is ready to proceed with public business and to invite him to address a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives in the Hall of the House of Representatives at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, February 19, 2001.
SECTION 2. This resolution is effective upon ratification.
In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 15th day of February, 2001.
